Leadership
Ann Green holds an Honours Bachelor of Music in Church Music and a Bachelor of Education from Wilfrid Laurier University as well as a Masters of Music from Western University. She performs as a violist, violinist, organist, pianist and singer. She was the founding conductor of the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra, and has acted as Music Director for the Mayor's Celebration of the Arts and Music and Lights in the Village, both of Cambridge. Ann owned and operated Beyond the Clef Music School in Downtown Hespeler Village for 11 years where she taught lessons, supervised staff, and conducted annual teacher training seminars. In 2005, Ann won the The Bernice Adams Memorial Award for Music for her involvement in the Arts.
With Arcady, Ann enjoys performing as a violist and singer. Her string trio, Harmonia performs weddings, concerts, and corporate events and includes long-time friends and violinists Kristi Coleman-Dorland and Julia McFarlane.
Ann's compositions include 3 children's musicals, Like a Child, Mandela the Musical, and Global Chorus, choral works, and pieces for developing orchestras.
Ann teaches French, Music, and Special Education with the Waterloo Region Board of Education andis the Music Director of St. Mark's United Church in Dundas.

Terry McConnell, B.Mus., B. Ed. is a composer, conductor, tubist, actor and teacher. He graduated from The University of Western Ontario with an Honours Bachelor of Music Education in 1984 and a Bachelor of Education in 1985. He led dynamic instrumental and vocal programming at Blenheim District High School for 30 1/2 years in addition to teaching other subjects. Terry has acted as musical director in more than 20 shows with Theatre Kent, Good Times Productions, Ridge Players, and BDHS productions. His acting endeavours include singing roles with groups such as Korda productions, improvised roles in murder mysteries and His Majesty's Feasts around southern Ontario, and many roles with the Purple Theatre Company of Windsor. In the latter's production of The Man Who Fell in Love with the Tuba, he acted in the main role in addition to being the inspiration for the play!
Terry currently performs with the Chatham Concert Band, the Primitive Roots Jazz Band, Occasional Five Plus One Brass Sextet, and the Choir at St. Mark's United Church in Dundas.

Sandra Thomaidis is a pianist and teacher. She completed Grade 10 piano with the Royal Conservatory of Music and then continued to take courses to train as a vocal and instrumental music teacher. Sandra has acted as Kindergarten teacher and a Itinerant Music Teacher in elementary schools for 30 years, often teaching Ukulele as an extra curricular activity. She presently teaches private piano lessons, an activity that keeps her engaged in her love of kids and music.
Rev. Alison Mock, B.Mus., M.Div is the Minister at St. Mark’s. Her relationship with the church and her personal faith has always been closely tied to music. She grew up singing in church choirs and performing musicals with her church youth group. Her call to ministry came while she was leading a music group for youth as part of her first church job.
Alison is also a flutist, and she holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Queen’s University, as well as several graduate courses in church music. Alison often shares her expertise on flute with the participants of this program. She loves to sing in the shower, and conducts classical music in the privacy of her car.

Rev. Christina Paradela , DM, graduated from the Centre for Christian Studies in Winnipeg in 2000 and was commissioned as a Diaconal Minister; a ministry of Pastoral Care, Social Justice and Faith Formation. Her passion is to facilitate learning circles where people of all ages learn how to more readily encounter the Divine and thereby live into a call of discipleship for the sake of peace in all Creation. Never having grown up completely, Christina's humour is always intermingled with her passion for justice. Her training in facilitation and creation of curricula make Sunday School a highly participatory, engaging and playful time. She delights in working with the leadership team at St Mark's and appreciates the integration of all the programming into the life of the community of faith. Christina is the leader of Faith, Rattle and Soul-Faith Time that meets at 10:30 each Sunday.
